Instruction Synopsis

Propitas were appointed to carry out a pre-acquisition building survey of this 82,000 sq ft industrial estate located in Sandhurst. The estate comprised a total of 33 units which were of varying forms of construction and which were constructed between 1960 and 1990.

With the unit being predominantly let, we liaised with the vendor to arrange access and inspected all aspects of the estate.  In addition, we sourced other specialists in relation to the provision of an environmental report and drainage survey as requested by the client.

HOW PROPITAS ADDED VALUE

The client required a very fast turnaround and Propitas were able to provide sufficient resource to mobilise and provide the building fabric element of the report within ten working days of instruction.

We advised our client on the condition of the various buildings, the nature of any existing defects and the associated cost implications, presenting these within a commercial context to enable the client to make an informed decision about the acquisition.

Propitas sourced quotations and then oversaw the specialist consultants/contractors as required to provide an environmental report and drainage survey.
