Propitas were engaged by a major logistics operator to undertake a pre-acquisition building survey prior to their acquisition of a property totalling 164,000 square feet. As part of the inspection, an extensive schedule of condition was prepared to limit the client’s exposure to future dilapidations liabilities. Following the successful acquisition, Propitas were instructed to project manage the fit-out of the property, including a raft of envelope improvements and repairs. With the pre-contract timescales being very tight, a Design and Build procurement strategy was adopted and works are now progressing well on site.
