Propitas were instructed by a pension holding company to tender and manage the refurbishment of three light industrial units in Leatherhead totalling approximately 7,500 sq ft. We were previously instructed to prepare a Schedule of Dilapidations following the vacation of the unit by the previous tenant. As part of the works the demise was reinstated back to three separate units, as they were at lease commencement, and the repairs and redecoration works were undertaken in line with the schedule of dilapidations. Following instruction in May, when the previous tenant vacated, Propitas were able to inspect the demise and prepare tender documents, we then received the tender returns and instructed the contractor following analysis. As there were a number of tenants interested in the units, the project was time-sensitive and we were able to manage the works to completion on programme and on budget in preparation for occupation a week thereafter.
