ISO 9001 is recognised worldwide as the international benchmark for quality within an organisation.

By achieving our ISO 9001 certification, Propitas are able to demonstrate to customers and suppliers that the systems we have in place meet the high standards set out by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).

To gain the ISO 9001 certification, Propitas had to demonstrate our dedication and commitment to meeting our customers’ needs, operating efficient management processes and delivering consistent, good quality products and services.

Each year, an external Audit is carried out by a third party to ensure our systems are maintained and any non-conformances are noted for correction.

Director, Chris Hodgson, said “Propitas has always had a focus on delivering good quality, clear advice. Achieving ISO 9001 accreditation only serves to enhance this and improve the already high standards we set ourselves as a business. Propitas is currently updating all reporting procedures in line with a refresh of our structure and presentation, in support of this accreditation. Our business thrives on repeat business from key clients, but it is very much the intention to use ISO 9001 to branch out into other sectors of work, whilst improving our service to existing clients.”

Martin Figg, the QMS Consultant who assessed Propitas for their ISO 9001 certificate, said “Propitas had some good processes already in place. ISO 9001 has enabled them to build on this framework and introduce a layer of traceability to ensure continual improvement.“  Martin added that both Rebecca Newman and Phil Sheepy from Propitas were extremely helpful, and “very engaged and excited about the benefits the Standard will bring.”
